Embrace Life Without Tooth Loss with Dental Center of Tysons Corner

Located at 8270 Greensboro Dr #101, McLean, VA 22102, the Dental Center of Tysons Corner offers advanced solutions to overcome tooth loss and regain a confident smile. Living in the modern world offers numerous benefits, including freedom from the challenges of tooth loss. With an estimated 175 million individuals experiencing tooth loss, the dental industry has witnessed a surge in innovation, notably with dental implants revolutionizing tooth replacement. While traditional implant procedures may not always be feasible or convenient, the All-on-4® technique presents a compelling alternative.

What is All-on-4®?

All-on-4® offers a minimally invasive approach, utilizing four implants to support a full arch of non-removable replacement teeth. This method eliminates the need for multiple surgeries and facilitates a natural-looking smile, achievable in a single office visit under local anesthesia. For individuals facing complete tooth loss or requiring extraction due to decay, All-on-4® represents a transformative advancement, providing functional and aesthetically pleasing results.

Who Should Get All-on-4®?

Ideal candidates include those seeking permanent, attractive tooth replacement solutions, particularly individuals already using dentures or with multiple missing teeth. Moreover, All-on-4® serves as an efficient and cost-effective option for those lacking the bone density for traditional implants or requiring expedited treatment.

Advantages Over Dentures

All-on-4® implants offer several advantages over dentures. Patients maintain oral hygiene habits akin to natural teeth, enjoy unrestricted dietary choices, and avoid the discomfort of traditional denture fixtures. Enhanced bite force enables enjoyment of a wide range of foods without fear of discomfort or damage, while the implants blend seamlessly with natural teeth, ensuring a confident smile. Additionally, All-on-4® implants stimulate jawbone growth, counteracting bone deterioration and restoring facial features over time.

The Process of Getting All-on-4® at Dental Center of Tysons Corner

Typically, the surgery takes approximately two hours and 30 minutes per arch. We can install your All-on-4® implants on your upper, lower, or both arches at the same time. While a dentist may make the process look easy, the surgery is a complex procedure that we can complete at an efficient pace. The process of getting All-on-4® implants can be laid out in four steps:

  • The first step: A detailed examination where we will look at your records, existing conditions, whether you have a denture, what your facial structure needs are, and any other factors that may come into play when placing your implants.
  • The second step: Typically involves CT scans, which are 3D pictures, of the jawbone. The scans include the positions of the replacement teeth, while also giving us critical information about where the bone sinuses and nerves are located for the implants.
  • The third step: Involves creating a computer simulation of the implants, which we digitally position into the jawbone at the appropriate location to give you the most support from your replacement teeth. We can adjust the implants as need be and fabricate your new set of teeth for your needs.
  • The fourth step: Finally, the most important step is the oral surgery. During surgery, we will provide you with anesthesia and then place the implants directly into your jawbone to secure your new set of teeth in place.
